Academic/Professional Experience
2021 - Present Adjunct Studio Instructor, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Richmond, VA
Designing and instructing photography curriculum to guide teens based on concurrent
exhibitions on display at the museum. Exhibits have included The Dirty South:
Contemporary Art, Material Culture, and the Sonic Impulse, Man Ray: The Paris Years,
and Tsherin Sherpa: Spirits.
2020 - 2023 Studio Manager and Photographer, Dementi Studio, Richmond VA
Managing diverse photographic projects and retouching requests, interacting with
a variety of clients, communicating effectively and professionally, and meeting deadlines
in a timely manner. Photographing clients for business headshots, family portraits, and
general commercial uses. Executing color correction, proofing, and retouching images
using Adobe Camera Raw, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
2017 - Present Lead Mentor and Program Instructor, Oakwood Arts, Richmond, VA
Facilitating workshops and classes with curriculum design and instruction to guide teens in the development
of cohesive bodies of work. Topics include fundamentals of digital photography, basic
editing techniques and lessons in Adobe Photoshop, and introduction to several
photography related careers.
2019 Production Assistant, Tilt Creative + Production, Richmond, VA
Assisted the Senior Producer, Art Director, and Director of Photography in preparing
props for set, communicating schedules to talent, and ensuring all needs were met for
high profile clients including Audi, Capital One, and Walmart.
